LAF maintains Operation Rooms and Procedure Rooms for Animal Ethic Committee approved operations. Advance booking of the room is strictly required. Basic surgical instruments, anesthesia machine recovery chamber and sterilizing equipment are available in the Operation Room. Specialized instruments needed for specific project is provided by users. Appropriate anaesthesia and pain relieving treatment can be provided by the LAF for any surgery and procedures that incur animal pain.
LAF veterinary technicians and animal care technicians will provide the necessary assistance during operations and procedures like injection and bleeding for antibody production.
