Detection of infectious agents in all rodent colonies in LAF quarterly
The program used are modified from the recommendation from the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations (FELASA) according to the local risk from infectious agents, scientific needs in the institution and the recent development of the concerned technologies. Post-mortem examination
Inspection of animal died unexpectedly for cause of death and possible risk to the rest of the colony for further action.
Quarantine screen
As a part of the biosecurity program
Screen for potential infectious agents in imported rodents to avoid entry of unwanted infectious agent into LAF.
